    -A new large McCray ice box has been installed.  The box will hold 300 pounds of ice and has seven compartments.  It is six feet high and seven feet across with plate glass and mirrors in front.  The store has also installed an electric steel cut coffee mill.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/7/1913)

    -Business is good, trade has increased, said to be over 25% in the last month.  They have needed extra help.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/7/1913)

    -An addition is being built on the store.  The masons are building a brick room to hold flour.  The present store is already crowded.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/21/1913)

    -The store has a display in their front window of several dozen bunnies.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/28/1913)

    -After many failed attempts, the electric lights and other electric machines at the store are now working.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/4/1913)

    -Rinear and Sons will now carry Butternut Bread made by the Phoenix Bakery.  Edware Eisle ships the bread all over the southwest, and it's hard to keep up with demand.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/11/1913)

    -The store has gotten a new counter installed that is 16 feet long, and has small glass compartments for different grocery items.  (Chandler Arizonan 6/6/1913)

    -Lester Jaycox has been hired as a temporary clerk at the store and starts on Monday.  Mr. Gollands is back from vacation with his wife, and will return back to work the first of the week.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/18/1913)
