Dear Mother & Daddy Ray & Kids,

Well, hope all is well.

As far as we are concerned we are just fine.  Lynn is working very hard and so am I.  We have rented about 60 apartments in the last 2 months.  My folks are working very hard also.

Today the weather has been horid [sic].  We (Charlotte) was just missed by a tornado and today it has rained all day and is supposed to rain all day tomorrow.

Well, tomorrow the kids all go back to school here in Charlotte.  So - I've hired a colored lady to sit with Mikie.  The maid that works for my parents refered [sic] her to me.  I sure hope she is good.

Can you believe that on September 15th Mike will be 8 months old.  Seems like only yesterday he was born.  He is a real doll.  He has been pulling himselff [sic] up to furniture for the past month.

I'm sure he will be walking in a couple of months.  But still no teeth.

There isn't too much news here so I'll be signing off for now. I've got to go and get my clothes out of the dryer and go to bed.  It is already 12:15 in the Morn. but we will be seeing you.
